People United With Style (PUWS) was founded to build a community of like-minded people that celebrate fashion, style, innovation, and craftsmanship. Spelt backwards it stands for Style Which Unites People - a luxury ready-to wear and made-to-order label.
An ethos of individuality that focuses on casual tailoring, dynamic silhouettes and functionality. A fun balance between minimalism and maximalism is prevalent throughout the brand. The garments we create are inclusive while giving you a feeling of exclusivity. Each piece is carefully designed and crafted at our very own studio.
Jui Pusalkar
Jui Pusalkar the founder of PUWS hails from a family of creative minds. She was encouraged to explore painting, drawing, music and design from a very young age. Jui’s love for playing with colors, textures, and fashion was inspired by her travels from all around the world.
Her journey in fashion truly began when she stepped foot in New York City in the year 2013. The city, the people, their individualistic and carefree sense of style drew her in completely. Not many years later, in 2018 she followed her dream and pursued her fashion degree from Parsons School of Design followed by a Masters in Fashion Marketing From LIM.
Jui was inspired by the flow of creativity throughout the city in the form of music, architecture, nature, museums, and fashion to say the least. She loved how people treated the city as their personal runway. With an aim to bring home the same kind of energy and outlook, Jui indulged into becoming a creative entrepreneur . All of her dreams, ideas and wild thoughts of imagination have cultivated into a home grown brand, to bring in a new perspective on how people think and dress.
